The Lex Lata Centre for International Law and Comparative Constitutionalism in Africa is accepting short articles for publication on its blog.

Requirements

  • Articles should not be more than 1500 words with no footnotes.
  • All references should be hyperlinked.
  • Articles should be original and must not have been published elsewhere.
  • Articles should address topical international and constitutional law issues relating to Africa.
  • Articles should be written in Times New Roman in font size 12.

Articles are accepted on a rolling basis and should be submitted to lexlatacentre@gmail.com.

Call for Abstracts

Public and International Law Conference

The Lex Lata Centre invites paper submissions for its 2024 conference on "Law and Development in Africa: Current Challenges in Theory and Practice" to be held on May 29th 2024.

Scholars and practitioners are encouraged to submit 500-word abstracts analyzing major public/international law issues impacting African development such as governance, human rights, trade, technology, healthcare and sustainability.

Abstract guidelines:

  • Explain your methodological approach
  • Describe the paper's main arguments
  • Relate arguments to the conference theme

Also, attach author CVs. Co-authored submissions should include a CV for each contributor.
